Maurice Leo Chevrefils Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Moe. Survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Marilyn, his son Joel (Silvana) and grandsons Leo and Thiago, step-daughters Stephanie (Scott), Kimberley (Craig) and granddaughters Lindsay and Taylor, and step-son Tom.
Moe grew up in Kenora, ON, where he started his career with Eaton's which brought him to Nelson, BC before settling in Calgary. After Eaton's he worked for Simmons Sleep Center until retirement.
He was known for his warm and easy going manner, his big smile and his bear hugs. He loved joking and having fun, and was always up for a game of cards.
One of his passions was football - after playing in high school, he coached for 5 years. He also loved golf and curling, and was always looking for a game to watch.
