She is survived by: her children, Yvette McDermott, Robert McDermott (Bobby) and James McDermott (Jimmy); her sisters, Nora Kayseas and Cecile Asham (Glen); her aunt Rose Young; her grandchildren, Jill McDermott and Antje Thomas (Ben); her great grandchildren, Lily-Ann Mary McDermott, Thomas Wade McDermott, Margaret Jacqueline McDermott, Kaydence Thomas and Caesium Thomas; and her siblings, Isabelle Kayseas, Gilbert Kayseas, Glen Kayseas, Christopher Kayseas (Chi), David Kayseas (Indian), Esther Kayseas and Helen Pelletier. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A wake was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Percy Severight Memorial Band Hall (1 St W, Kylemore, SK S0A1Z0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
