She was predeceased by: her parents, Willem and Geertruida; and her siblings, Jacoba Co van Krimpen (Cees) of Alblasserdam, Teuntje Tilly Verkerk (Art) of Calgary and Leendert Nederl (Leo) of Calgary.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald Thomas Dean (Joe); her sister-in-law Irene Nederlof of Calgary; and her nieces and nephews, Jan van Krimpen (Roelien), Wim van Krimpen (Carmen) of Alblasserdam, John Verkerk (Christina), Bill Verkerk, Grace Little (David) and Teresa Bouwman (Leon).

We lost contact with one another until we were reunited in the late 80’s at a family wedding. It was a wonderful surprise for me & we picked up where we left off some 35 years ago.
