It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Szakacs (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Anna-Maria Woolley; and her grandson Taylor Woolley. She is survived by: her husband Peter; her daughter Judi Soukup (Alan); and her grandchildren, Maya, Matthew Soukup, Bridget and Marina Woolley.
