It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis W. MacEachern (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louis W. MacEachern to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Hilda; his children, Carla, Grant (Kim) and Nancy; and his grandchild Atticus.

My mother , Lois Sinclair ( nee Bertram) grew up in Hazel Grove with Lou. I served with Lou on the UPEI Board of Governors which is where I met Lou and where we became fast friends.Lou was a man blessed with the finest qualities of character . Although he lived in Alberta he was a proud Islander through and through . I will miss my friend Lou .”
