It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorne William Jenks of Calgary, Alberta, born in Cardston, Alberta, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Norma Arlene Heikkila; his parents, Mae Catherine Jenks and Vernon Leonard Jenks; and his sisters, Verna, Sybil, Leona, Irene, Jenora, Donna and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Jenks of Calgary, AB; his daughter Lorie Jenks; his son-in-law Terry Wityk of Calgary, AB; his children, Karen Jenks of Surrey, BC, Dale (Pam Jenks) and Eugene (Anick Jenks); his grandchildren, Colin Jenks of Calgary, AB, Tessa Jenks, Cooper Jenks, Marlo Jenks and Winnie Jenks; his great grandchild Aiden Jenks of Calgary, AB.; and his sisters, Ada and Geneva of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
