He was predeceased by: his mother Eskil Carlson. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Carlson; his children, Joan Marie Nocente (Dean), Linda Ellen (Joal Borggard) and Robert John; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Melina, Eric, Pamela, Timothy, Sarah, Angela, Graeme, Nova and Varden. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
