She was predeceased by: her mother Phyllis Iverson; and her sister Janice Domenjoz. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Thompson; her sons, Steve Thompson and Wayne; her daughter-in-law Karah Thompson; her daughter Kari Thompson; her son-in-law Nathan Schilman; her granddaughters, Hannah Thompson, Olivia, Kendall Thompson and Ember Schilman; her brother Rik; her sister-in-law Barb Potvin of Edmonton; her sisters, Rita (Rick Lemery), Lorraine (Bill Bergh) and Teri Neiss; her brother-in-law Peter Domenjoz (Cathy Domenjoz); her close friend Irene Taylor; and her friend Linda. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
