He was predeceased by: his parents, Kitty Gouwentak and Joost Ruitenschild; and his wife Janneke (Lievaart). He is survived by: his children, Joanne (Frank Tosto), Marjan (Steve Morris) and Roland (Stacy Keith); and his grandchildren, Ava, Carver, Adam and Sydney.
