He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grove and Mary Grove; his wife Louise Grove; and his siblings, Alfred Grove, Stanley Grove (Elsie), Donald Grove (Vi), Dorothy Pals (Leo) and Edna Kneller (Oscar).

He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Kariga; his children, Wayne Grove (Cathy Manuel) and Linda Hanna (Dana); his grandchildren, Calin Manuel (Lindsey Cumming), Thomas Jacques and Craig Grove (Caitlin); and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Brantley Jacques, Kenny and Bennett Grove. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
