He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Schlenkrich and Elisabet Schlenkrich of Georgeswalde; his former wife Jeannie Tonoff; his brothers, Hans of North York, ON and Herbert; and his brother-in-law Reinhardt Uhlendorff of Göttingen.
He is survived by: his children, Peter of Calgary, AB, Matthew (Tracey) of Victoria, BC, Anne of Edmonton, AB, Teresa'Threza' of Grande Prairie, AB and Joan'Frejya' of Calgary, AB.; his siblings, Margarete of Göttingen, Gertrud of Calgary, AB, Franz of Bad Homburg and Rudi of Germany; his sister-in-law Jean of North York, ON; his wife Margarete; and his sister-in-law Brigitte of Bad Homburg. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
