She was predeceased by: her husband Mrinmoy Dasgupta; and her parents, Jatindranath and Renu. She is survived by: her daughters, Roshni and Sumana; her son-in-law Rick Simpson; her grandchildren-in-law, Kai and Nikhil; her son-in-law Michael Ilg; her grandchildren-in-law, Inaya and Elan; and her brothers, Susanta, Prasanta and Jayanta Dasgupta.
