She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bennett and Marie Anne Bennett; her husband Henri of Calgary, AB; her siblings, Lois, Diana, Joan, Earl and Carl; and her grandson Jonathan.

She is survived by: her children, Arlene Forster (Don) of Calgary, Erika Herrick (Dave) of Edmonton, Carl Bretzke of Calgary, Fred Bretzke of Calgary and Brenda Bretzke of Calgary; her sister Gail Mercer; and her grandchildren, Benjamin, Jennifer, Allison, Daniel, Samuel, Kristen, Emily, Jaci, Joseph, Sylvia, Tammy, Valerie, Amy, Donna, James, William, Megan, Gwen, Trina, Kelly and Kent. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home (703 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB T1H2T2). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (30 Everstone Blvd SW, Calgary, AB T2Y4S5).
