He was predeceased by: his father Istvan Kistorma. He is survived by: his wife Ita (McKenna); his sons, Jacob and Nathaniel; his mother Gizela Kistorma (Nagy); and his sister Gizella Kistorma.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eden Brook Funeral Home (24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB T3Z3K2). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael Catholic Community Parish (800 85 St SW, Calgary, AB T3H4C7). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Eden Brook Cemetery (24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB T3Z3K2).
As Joe supported his father through his treatments, it became a charity close to his heart.
