He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Hull; and his stepson Gordon Gagne. He is survived by: his siblings, Valerien and Alexandrina Gagne; his stepdaughters, Betty-Ann Scheck (Layton) and Jackie Stuckey (Garry); and his children, Victor Gagne (Sheri) and Beverly McArthur (Ed). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
