John Wesley Mikel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Mikel in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his honey Lisa; his stepson Jumal Bell (SuHare Hammoud); his brother Bruce; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by two sisters as well as family members, friends.
