He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vestering and Adrianna Vestering; his wife Maria; his son John; and his sisters, Afra and Willy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna (Wayne) and Diana (Randy); and his siblings, Jenny (Joe), Hank (Martha) and Trudy. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
