We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 94, John Phan Du Sam of Calgary, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John Phan Du may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sam of Calgary, AB; his daughter Kristy; his son-in-law John; his sons, Chris (Sandy) and Steve (Dorcas); and his grandchildren, Chantelle, Dylan, Emily, Cody, Jadon and Naomi.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Cir NW, Calgary, AB T3G2T3).
