With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Henry Lohues (Calgary, Alberta), whose life came to an end on March 8, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Theodoor and Euphemia Maria; and his siblings, Bertha, Lenie, Mini, Mieke, Hank and Herman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Annie, Lies, Ben and Jerry; his wife Rita; his children, Gary (Michelle), Maureen (Ian) and Anita (Brett); his grandchildren, Jeff (Amanda), Eric (Shae), Jenny (Nick), Melissa (Jackman), Kevin and Max; and his great grandchildren, Kolby, Mercer, Kayden and Kylie.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (7103 20a St SE, Calgary, AB T2C0R6).
A couple of years later he found out that he had Parkinson's. Eventually this led to a move to long term care and senior living in Millrise where they could still be close to each other.
