He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Mary-Lou Murphy; his children, Ian and Melissa Ramsay; his parents, Ian Ramsay and Pearl Ramsay; and his siblings, Dianne Smyth, Joanne Harrish and Doug Ramsay. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
