Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her former husband Nick Burak; her siblings, Merideth Duff, Roy Duff, Bruce Duff, James Duff and Doris Pederson (Willard); and her parents, Norman Duff and Lily Duff.
She is survived by: her son Glen Sherwin of Airdrie; her granddaughter Eva Grey (Shane); her great grandchild McKenzie Grey of Irricana, AB; her daughter-in-law Jacqueline Sherwin; her niece Jean Pederson (Douglas Kerr); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Kerr (Tory Street) and Scott Kerr (Dani); and her caregiver Kelly Shea.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
