He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Bierman (Kelly), Barb Bierman and Margaret Schuster (Shane); his grandchildren, Christine Cimolai (Mickey), Jessica Bierman, Jonathan Bierman (Ben Monkhouse), Mariann Bierman, Amanda Hoerle (Tommy Leong), Brad Hoerle and Meagan Moller (Braun); and his great grandchildren, Elsie Cimolai, Edie Cimolai, Blake Leong, Brady Leong, Brennen Leong, Auna Moller and Brooks Moller.
