For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Cairns. She is survived by: her husband Ross Roy of Calgary, AB; her sons, David (Dallas) and Brian (Victoria); her mother Ruth Cairns; her uncle Fred Beeby of Calgary, AB.; and her sisters, Darla Matchett (Ross) of Calgary, AB and Donna Wilson (Daryl) of Didsbury, AB. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Center Street Church (3900 2 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E9C1).

In 2021, while her own health issues were re-emerging, she self-published A Closer Walk: An Alzheimer's Journey, detailing her personal and her family's experience with the devastating illness that claimed her father's life in 2015.
