Ingrid (Korfer) Walters Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ingrid (Korfer) Walters (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Korfer and Maria Muyrers; her husband James Michael Walters (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Sister Marguerite, Marion, Rita, George, Ken, Jerry, Peter and Wolfgang.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Ann Walters, Sheila Marie Cornelisse (Peter) and Michael George Walters Walters (Julie Duhme); her grandchildren, Mackenzie Cornelisse (Sarah), Daniel, Shane, Brandon and Abby Walters; her great grandchildren, Ava and Kate Cornelisse; her friends, Julianne Berger, Paula, Rick Watson, Melanie Chung, Mary, Ken Hutchinson, Siobhan and Mark Farrar; and her pet Marti (The Dog).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Parish Church (1414 Shawnessy Blvd SW, Calgary, AB T2Y2L7). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
