It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iluminada Castro Figueroa (Calgary, Alberta), born in San Jose, California, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moises Castro and Modesta Perez Castro. She is survived by: her siblings, Felicidad, Indo, Sario, Nicolas and Victoria; her husband Alejandro Enriquez Figueroa; her children, Luis and Nenita; her grandchild Tupeng; her children, Felicitas, Danilo and Zenaida; her pet Simba; and also Mikko Miyagi. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
