He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Rotchford of Calgary, AB; his children, Joanne, Karilynn, Shawn and Cory; his daughter-in-law Sierra; his grandchildren, Rowen, Ripley, River and Rhodes; and his siblings, William (Billy), Stephen, Paul, Lorraine, Dianne and Irene. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“Our thoughts are with you Mary Ann and family. How we would love to be there. Today is a very fitting day to remember Howard it being Feb. 14 for he was a very lovable guy. Also Howard once told me that he loved snow storms and growing up in NL we had lots of them. Well today a snow storm is raging outside....we pause to remember you Howard....missing you so much but grateful for the blessing of having had a wonderful brother.
