It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herbert Matthews (Calgary, Alberta), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross and Grace (Matthews). He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Jenn Pielak (Terry) and Geoff Matthews (Katie); his grandchildren, Reid, Owen, Arlo and Kaitlyn; his sister Noreen Coombs; and his brother-in-law Les. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Eden Brook Funeral Home (24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB T3Z3K2).
