He is survived by: his wife Cobi Visser; his children, Iona Dawson, Sonya Grypma (Martin) and Mike Visser (Nancy); his son-in-law Lou Slagter; and his siblings, Betty Oostra (Richard), Ellen Freestone (Brian) and John Visser (Dena). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
