It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Lyla Steman of Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Burton and Margaret Burton; her husband Henry Steman; and her siblings, Joan and Leslie.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne (late Cameron), Karen (Garry), Susan (Gary) and Michael (Katelyn); her nephew Darryl (Angela); her grandchildren, Linda, Eric, Tristan and Nadine; her great grandchildren, Caiden, Seraphina, Desmond and Emily; her great-niece Melanie; and her nephew Kevin.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Calgary Humane Society.
