He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert "Bob" Muise and Blanche Muise (Surette); his sisters, Carol Forrestall, Betty Muise and Diane Muise; and his brother-in-law Vincent Forrestall.

He is survived by: his wife Esther (Churchill); his children, Ryan and Amanda; his granddaughter Layla of Calgary; his nephew Vincent Forrestall; his niece Angela Forrestall; his great-nieces, June Fitzgerald (Sanford) and Jenna Forrestall; and his uncle Leslie Muise.
