The memory of Gunnar Jensen (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Niels and Kristine; his wife Esther; and his brothers, Jan Egon, Vagn and Niels.
He is survived by: his children, Tonny Jensen (Birthe) of Leader and Jo-Ann Kornfeld (Gord) of Calgary; and his grandchildren, Karsten, Jennifer, Paul and Benjamin. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Arbor Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Danish Lutheran Church (210 10 Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2E0W9).
