He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Madeline Haczkiewicz of Calgary, AB. He is survived by: his son Wayne Gordon Simpson; his daughter-in-law Carey Anne Simpson; and his grandchildren, Chyanne Catherine Simpson of Okotoks, AB. and Hunter John Chase Simpson of Okotoks, AB.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
