He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwendolin Staten and Jim Staten; and his stepson Darren Scheible. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughter Karen Trudel (Kevin); his grandson Mason Trudel; his brother Earl Staten (Lorna); his nieces and nephews, Allison and Chad Staten; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nash and Austin Staten; his stepgranddaughter Stephanie; his sisters-in-law, Bernice Schetzsle (Gordon), Carol McCuaig (Rod) and Janice Shield (Dale); and also, Cheryl and Nyah.
