The memory of Gerard O'Flaherty (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William O'Flaherty and Mary O'Flaherty; and his siblings, Kay, Kevin and Desmond.
He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Brian (Nicola), Neil (Sandra) and Deirdre (Raymond); his grandchildren, Delaney, Fiona O'Flaherty, Declan, Bryden O'Flaherty, Molly and Clare Kavanagh; and his siblings, Bill and Carmel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (5340 4 St SW, Calgary, AB T2V0Z5).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
