He was predeceased by: his former wife Ann; and his siblings, William, Hank, Alexander and Margo Strain.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Linterman (Hill); his sons, Henry, William (Gitte) and Alexander (Louise); his grandchildren, Rhonda, Courtney, Jasmine, Michael, Nicholas, Bradley, Ashley, Vicki and Steven; his great grandchildren, Evan, Beau, Presley, Layla, Emily, Gabriel and Steve Jr.; his siblings, Irene Modahl and Rudy Linterman (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Whittington, David Hill (Beverly), Bill Strain and Penelope Linterman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Veterans Food Bank or the Canadian Cancer Society.
