George Peter Glowa Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Peter Glowa (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Glowa and Katherine Glowa; and his brother Gordon Glowa. He is survived by: his wife Judy Glowa; his children, Tim (Suzanne), Jackie (Chris), Kane (Calgary) and Michelle (Gord); his grandchildren, Grace Wilks, Hayden Kane (Calgary), Alexander Glowa, Thomas Wilks and Ellie Glowa; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Chastko (Calgary), Joanne Wachal (Winnipeg), Shelley Glowa of Dryden, ON, Richard Wachal (Wanda) of Peachland, BC and Randy (Lorna). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in George's name to any agency helping Ukrainian refugees in Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
