He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allan and Jane Allan; his former wife Harriet; his brother John; and his granddaughter Heather Allan.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Allan of Calgary, AB; his son Ken; his daughter-in-law Donna; his daughters, Sandra and Diane of Calgary; his stepdaughter Randene Dittrich (Ed) of Red Deer; his grandchildren, Kimberley Fielder (Chris), Lauren Allan, Jeff Tayler of Calgary, Alexandra Dittrich (Chris Gordon) of Halifax, Regena Berndt (Jackson) of Edmonton and Josh Dittrich (Jenna) of Red Deer, Alberta; and his great grandchildren, Christian Tayler, Caitlyn Tayler, Claire Tayler and Ava Fielder of Calgary, Alberta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
