He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pauls and Justina Pauls; and his sister Helen Prescesky. He is survived by: his wife Helen Pauls of Calgary; his daughters, Jodi Robertson (Darren) of Calgary and Janet Bang (Dana) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Jack Harris, Chloe Robertson, Erika and Soren Bang; and his siblings, John, Walter, Donald, Clarence and Esther Rothenburger.
