She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Scott and Walter Scott. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey; her children, Steven (Jessica), Joanna and Hailey (Ryan); her grandson Levi; her siblings, Joe (Diane), Jack (Jackie), Tom (Annabel), Anne Marie (Paul), Jennifer (Terry) and Gisele (Glen); her brother-in-law Dan (Gloria); and her pets, Stanley and Zara.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas United Church (100 Hawkwood Blvd NW, Calgary, AB T3G2S9). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Prairie Sky Cemetery (12800 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T3S0A7). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for a memorial bench in Florence's honour in one of her favourite parks.
