It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangeline Hope Smith (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on December 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; her parents, Peter and Mary; her siblings, Edith Stodola and Raymond Mackay; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Yeudall, Mike Stodola and Ed Boychuk.
She is survived by: her children, Brad and Heather (Josef Hocher); her grandchildren, Camryn and Brennen; her sisters, Maryann Boychuk and Patricia Yeudall; her sister-in-law Donna Mackay; and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or donations we simply ask that when the season allows, friends and family take a moment to smell a peony or a rose, touch the soil, feel the mountain breeze on your face and remember Jean.
