He was predeceased by: his daughter Shelley Kunzel; his sister Elfrun Jurschke; and his parents, Selma Steinhauer and Bruno Steinhauer. He is survived by: his wife Norma Kunzel of Calgary, AB; his daughter Sandra Kunzel; and his sons-in-law, John McWhae of Calgary and Garney Baker of Canmore.
