He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa; his brothers, Robert "Bob", Cornelis "Ronnie King" and Roy; his parents, Emile and Hendrika; and his friend Mel Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Alan and Laura (Sean); his grandsons, Oscar and Logan; and his sister Joanne (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
