Edward Braun Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Braun (Calgary, Alberta), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakob Braun and Susanna Braun; his siblings, Jake, Harry and Irma; and his siblings-in-law, Susie Braun, Doris Buffie, Abe Mathies, Peter Friesen and Wilfred Buffie.

He is survived by: his wife Aileen Buffie; his sons, Kevin (Leanne) and Jason (Anna); his grandchildren, Ethan (Paula), Josh, Alexa, Sarah and Amelia; his sister Margaret Friesen; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Braun and Jerry Buffie (Marlene). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition, Ed donated blood over 500 times. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the aforementioned charities.
