He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Rasmussen and Alice Rasmussen; and his son-in-law Sean Davis. He is survived by: his siblings, Lenard Rasmussen (Norma) and Jean Matthews; his great grandchild Brian Rasmussen (Michele) of Okotoks; his grandchildren, Trent Rasmussen (Audrey), Rachel Rasmussen (Reed Parsons) of Savannah, GA, Victoria Pope (Mitchell) of Lehi, UT and Eric Rasmussen (Halley) of Sandy, UT; his great grandchildren, William, Henry, Hudson and Lincoln; his grandchildren, Allison Stokes (Bryce) of Calgary, Kelsey Coe (Shawn) of Pearland, TX and Callie Fritzler of Lingle, WY; his great grandchildren, Jaden, Alexa, Madison and Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Megan of Aurora, CO., Adam of Aurora, CO., Taia of Aurora, CO., Kate Aldacosta of Halifax, NS and Sonya Davis of Dartmouth, NS.. He is also survived by four children, thirteen Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nanton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations honoring Dwayne may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta to support other families facing the challenges of dementia.
