Domenico Laratta Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Domenico Laratta (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Laratta and Caterina Laratta; his in-laws, Frank and Teresa Mosca; his sisters, Teresa Oliverio and Rosetta Intrieri; and his siblings-in-law, Harvey Mosca, John Battista Laratta (Joanne), Chuck Martell, Salvatore Oliverio, Salvatore Intrieri, Mario Fiorito, Hazel Mosca, June Mosca and Maria Laratta.

He is survived by: his wife Caterina (Kay); his children, Joe (Doris), Rena, Frank (Lorraine) and Trisa (Jeff); his grandchildren, Emily (Josh), Vanessa, Maddie (Dwayne), Jessica (Jordan), Adriano (Megan), Matteo, Shawn and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Greyson, Lennon, Katie and Benjamin; his siblings, John (Teresa), Pasquale (Maria), Tony (Ada), Frank (Pina), Anna (Frank) and Marcella; and his siblings-in-law, Pat (Jeanne) and Rosie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
