It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dimitra Christofilakis (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexios Katsaris and Stratigo Katsaris; and her brother Paul Katsaris. She is survived by: her husband Stelios Christofilakis; her children, Stacey (Stratigoula), Joanne (Chris) and Dimitrios (Nicole); and her grandchildren, Alexis, Phillip, Aletheia, Calliope, Priya and Roxi. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
A prayer was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Evan J. Strong Funeral Services (5502 2 St SW, Calgary, AB T2H0G9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (1 Tamarac Crescent SW, Calgary, AB T3C3B7). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at the Eden Brook Memorial Gardens (24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB T3Z3K2).
