He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow (Woody) and Jackie Gardner; his grandparents, Chris Sr. and Susan Strangling Wolf; his uncle Chris Jr. Strangling Wolf Kim; and his aunt Sharon Strangling Wolf.

He is survived by: his children, Summer, Carter, Destiny, Autumn, Phillip, Daks, Erica and Dereks; his great grandchild Serenity; his siblings, Nathon, Adam, Breana and Woodrow Jr.; and his aunts, Jackie Spring Chief and Donna Strangling Wolf.
