It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Lloyd Downes (Calgary, Alberta), born in Forestburg, Alberta, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Aldine; his brother Harvey; and his sister-in-law Carol. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Jeff (Tanya), Sue (Kieren) and Barb (Josh); and his grandchildren, Tyne, Brynn (Brooke), Egan, Rebecca, Emily and Meghan.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eastside Memorial (5388 Memorial Dr, Calgary, AB T2A3V9).
