He was predeceased by: his parents, John Main and Hattie Main. He is survived by: his siblings, Laurie, Bruce and Elsie; his wife Marion; his daughters, Brenda (Kevin) and Connie (Joao); his grandchildren, Amanda (Brad), Brad, Joshua and Caleb; and his great grandchild Jaxon.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Bonavista Church (1509 Lake Ontario Dr SE, Calgary, AB T2J4Y7).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave's name to The Gideon's (gideons.org) or Shelter Canada (shelterhelps.com).
