With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Conrad Aben (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Conrad Aben to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Terry (Terry); his daughter Pat; his son-in-law Peter; his brother Hank; and his close friend Ann.

He is survived by: his children, Tom Aben (Darmody Mumford) and Mary Aben (Richard Anton); his grandson Jesse Aben (Nicole Aben); and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Natalie and Amelia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Con's memory may be made directly to Operation Smile or a charity of your choice.

“In loving memory of Conrad Aben, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I knew Con for many years. We volunteered together for some time as ushers many years ago at St. Michaels Church on Bow trail. He was like a father to me after my own dad passed. I kept in touch with him thru the years after I left Calgary and moved back to Hamilton Ontario. He was a dear friend to me and he will be missed. I often loved speaking with him on the phone after I moved”
